Agios Taxiarchis waterfall

The waterfalls are located at the end of the gorge, where the river seems to flow into the cave. The water falls rapidly into a lake, nearby is a mysterious cave that has underground lakes with interesting and unusual images. The gorge is memorable for the fine mist from the waterfalls that spray falling from the height as if playing with water droplets. It is definitely the most grandiose and amazing natural wonder. The place is quite inaccessible and is located 46 km from the city of Patras, near the lovely village of Ano Vlasia Kalavrita. The waterfalls of Agios Taxiarhis were the beginning of Greek mythology, as Callisto and all the nymphs of Artemis passed here bathing naked in the hidden cool place.
