The waterfall of Agia Varvara, over 15 meters high, is located near the settlement of Dipotama, in the Paranesti area. It is the closest and most impressive waterfall, surrounded by a rich vegetation of alder and oak trees. The water of the waterfall just below merges with the Arkudorem stream to form a small lake, which is home to trout, as well as freshwater crabs, water snakes and dragonflies. If you go to the top of the waterfalls, climbing up the smooth rocks, you will get a beautiful scenic view where you can take wonderful photos. The waterfalls and forest nature are very popular with nature lovers, the area was designed by the Forest Service as a recreation area. The path to the waterfall is about 300 meters and follows a forest path with small bridges.
