Drimonas Waterfalls are located in the north of Evia, at an altitude of 620 meters above sea level. They are three waterfalls forming two small lakes. The water falls rapidly from a height of 15 meters into a crystal clear lake surrounded by rocks and forest. Around the green lake grows a dense spruce forest, with rare black pines, oaks and Aleppo pines. The water here is very cold, and the maximum depth is about 2 meters. There is other vegetation, plane trees, maples, wild cedars and others. Access to the waterfalls is very easy, from the parking lot starts a trail that runs along the Sepia River and is about 1.5 km long. The waterfalls can be reached via various paths with bridges and benches. One of the paths passes through the forest and reaches the highest peak of Mount Xyros with a height of 990 meters, where you can enjoy a stunning view. Not far from the waterfalls is the petrified forest and the Museum with fossilized mammals of Kerasia
