Balos beach is one of the most beautiful m inaccessible beaches on the island of Crete. It can be reached either by car on off-road or as part of an organized excursion to the island of Gramvousa from the port of Kissamos. On the beach you can count dozens of shades of water color and that only in this place three seas meet: the Ionian, Aegean and Libyan seas. The white sand of the small bay, where both children and adults can play, is the ideal place for a vacation. The beach is usually visited as part of an organized excursion to the pirate island of Gramvusa, on top of which are the remains of a Venetian fortress. Ships are usually moored in front of the pirate island, with very small shells of pink color on the sandy shore. In the cove of the beach you can swim even when there is a storm in the neighborhood and the sea is rough. There is no infrastructure on the beach yet, but at the height of the season there will be deck chairs with umbrellas, showers and a cozy beach bar. The lack of visible conditions of civilization is not a hindrance, in order to come with children, the beach is shallow enough and there are practically no waves.
