Arch bridge with waterfalls

Not far from the town of Trikala there are three Paleokaria settlements (Ano, Kato and Mesi) and a marvelous place with an arched bridge and a double waterfall. The waterfalls are located in the valley of Portaico, in a gorge with amazing wild beauty and with an impressive and mesmerizing landscape. The arch bridge is located in a rocky strait, 500 meters from Kato Paleokaria. Near the bridge, there are two dams that have created two small artificial waterfalls, which give this place a special flavor. Not far away is the traditional water mill of Paleokaria. The forest landscape among the mountains with lush vegetation creates a picturesque atmosphere. You can walk through the beautiful forest or climb the stone road to the top of Gropa Mountain, which starts from Ano Paleokaria.
