The famous Porto Katsiki beach

The name of the beach came from the wild goats, because only they used to be able to reach it. It is no coincidence that it stands out among the best beaches of Lefkada and Greece. When you first see the beach of Porto Katsiki you will be stunned by its beauty. A wild shore with steep cliffs, ending in a vast sandy beach covered with fine white pebbles. Deep turquoise waters that change shades depending on the depth and sunlight. It is the southernmost beach of the island, located about 45 km from the town of Lefkas. It can be reached in two ways, by boat or by car along the paved road. The sunset in Porto Katsiki is spectacular, when the sun, sinking below the horizon, paints the sky and the sea with unusual colors, where the last rays of the sun sink into the waters of the Ionian Sea.
