Kadi Waterfall - Polylimnio

The name Polylimnio means many lakes and it is one of the most beautiful places in the Peloponnese. It is located in a gorge near the village of Haravgi, 33 km from the city of Kalamata. Polylimnio is formed by flowing waters with waterfalls and small lakes. The gorge is relatively passable and not very difficult, except where the waterfalls are located. There are 15 lakes on the 3 km long Polilimnio route, with water flowing from one lake to another. The walk is interrupted by small waterfalls, and special ladders have been installed nearby, where you can go down or up. Small bridges and metal auxiliary handrails have been made in places that are difficult to reach. Since in many places it is necessary to walk on water, it is advisable to visit Polilimnio in the warm season. The lakes are quite deep with crystal clear water and in which you can swim. The highest waterfall in Polilimnio is the Cadiz waterfall, with a height of 25 meters. The local fauna is particularly diverse in the area of the butterfly cave, located behind the lakes. To reach it, you have to keep walking along the gorge.
