Stenosia Waterfalls

In Messinia, a stunning natural treasure that has been hidden for decades in an impassable gorge has been discovered, it is a delightful walk over bridges to the Stenosia waterfall. It is a beautiful green area where the river flows from waterfall to pond, covering a distance of several kilometers to the famous Kalamari waterfall. The gorge is currently cleared and accessible for walks. All this is thanks to a local villager Valanti Kalogeropoulou, who found the gorge with the waterfall and then made a lot of effort to clear the way to the waterfall and try to attract attention to this fabulous place. The natural thickets around the gorge are almost fairytale-like, with beautiful curly plants and mosses. On a hot day this could be your chance to cool off and take photos.
