Not far from the settlement of Kriopigi, at an altitude of 1360 meters are the Dzumerka twin waterfalls. The left waterfall with a powerful flow is 87 meters high, while the right one reaches 100 meters. The northwestern peaks of Dzumerka rise above them, creating a magnificent landscape. The mountain waters flow serpentine for about 10 kilometers and flow into the Arakhtos River. There are cobblestone paths and beautiful small bridges near the waterfalls, which make it very easy to reach the waterfalls, and there is a tourist kiosk along the route. A suitable time to visit the waterfalls is the end of May, as the turbulent flow of water will be powerful, and the spectacle will be unforgettable. The vegetation around the waterfalls is dense and consists of oaks, laurel leaves. Different plants grow on the steep cliffs, and there are many orchids growing on the slopes of the paths and in small glades. There are about 100 species of birds in the vicinity, some of which are very rare.
