Porto Vathy beach

Vathi Beach is one of the most inaccessible beaches on the island, but it is not deserted. It is one of the favorite beaches preferred by locals and tourists on yachts. Why - it is of course the incomparable natural beauty, as the sandy beach is located in a small bay surrounded by green vegetation. Tall pine trees reach the water and create shade and protection on the beach on hot summer days, when the sun becomes unbearable. The beach is relatively shallow, and the sea is always a beautiful emerald color with clear and crystal clear water. The beach can be reached by a dirt road from the neighboring villages of Potamia and Panagia. Near the beach are some of the most popular beaches of the island, Saliara, Chrysi Akti and Chrysi Ammoudia. It is possible to reach the beach by tourist boats that make excursions around the island from the island's capital Limenas, which is located nearby.
