Lighthouse of Agios Theodoros
One of the main attractions of Argostoli, is the lighthouse of Agios Theodoros. Located on an artificial peninsula near the town itself. It is one of the most romantic spots of Kefalonia and is highly recommended for photo shoots. The lighthouse is built in Doric style with 20 white columns, 8 meters high. It was built under Governor Charles Napier in 1928. In 1964, the lighthouse was destroyed by an earthquake and was rebuilt to its original appearance. The lighthouse is not only a landmark for incoming and outgoing ships, but also a classic romantic spot for locals and visitors.
