Vathi Beach

Vathi beach is one of the hardest beaches on the island, but it is not deserted, as it is preferred by vacationers who come by boat. The beach is located on the eastern part of the island, 10 km from the capital Limenas. It is a place of stunning beauty, located in a secluded bay with a sandy beach and surrounded by green vegetation. Tall pine trees reach the sea and provide natural shade and protection during the hot summer hours, when the sun becomes unbearable. The bottom of the beach is relatively shallow and always has a beautiful emerald color with crystal clear water. The beach is reached by a scenic forest road that connects Makriammos, Saliara and Vathi beaches. It is a very popular yachting destination, and you can easily reach it by tourist boat.
