Alatias beach is a small white pebble beach with clear blue water. The beach is small and most of its vacationers are locals. The beach got its name Alaties from the salt that dries in the pits of the rocks, you can see it if you walk on the rocks. In the past this place was used as salt pits and the inhabitants of the surrounding villages used to collect sea salt. Alatias beach is unorganized, but there is a traditional tavern nearby where you can enjoy fresh delicious delicacies and cold refreshing drinks. On the beach, you can admire the wonderful sunset and enjoy the last rays of the sun sinking in the waters of the Ionian Sea.
