Platana Beach
The beach is located on the northwestern part of the island, about 14 km from Limenas, the capital of the island. The name of this beautiful beach comes from the Platanus trees that grow on a large part of the beach. Nearby is a picturesque bay with a small harbor. The beach has a crystal clear, calm sea and a huge sandy shore. The beach is organized, with umbrellas, deck chairs and beach bar. The beach with fine sand and shallow water is ideal for children. It is a wonderful place to relax even with very young children.
