Mastichari Beach

The beach is located in the village of Mastihari, about 21 km from the capital of Kos. It is a wide beach with fine white sand about 1.5 km long. Near the harbor, the beach is quite lively, but as you move on it becomes quieter and more wild. There are several cozy restaurants and taverns near the beach. The beach has sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and in some places there are changing rooms. Due to the frequent winds, it is recommended to bring wind protection. There is a children's playground near the beach. There are no lifeguards on the beach, as the depth is shallow and waves are rare. In the central part of the beach there is a water sports center. In windless weather you can rent kayaks, SUP boards or play volleyball.
