Kardamena Beach

The beach is located in the village of Kardamena, about 25 km from the capital of Kos. The beach is well organized with many sunbeds and umbrellas, fine sand and shallow bottom attracts many tourists. Along the promenade there are centers offering various water sports services. Nearby you will find restaurants to suit all tastes and many beach bars and cafés where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sea. From the port of Kardamena there is a daily excursion boat to the thermal springs in Agia Irini, suitable for the treatment of gynecological diseases. Every summer, Kardamena hosts the Alasarna Festival, which attracts many cultural events. Concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances, traditional dances, scientific symposiums and a variety of games are organized, allowing everyone to find something to enjoy.
