Emblisi Beach

The popular beach of Erissos, Emblisi, is a closed cove with green trees stretching into the sea. The beach is covered with white pebbles, with a sandy seabed and turquoise water. The beach is surrounded by rocks with stone slabs, on which you can spread a towel and enjoy the sunbathing. On the beach there is a beach bar with all the essentials, and not far from the beach you will find tavernas and restaurants with fresh fish and local specialties (try the Kefalonian meat pie). The beach is not organized, so there are no umbrellas or sun loungers on the beach. In a designated area near the beach, it is possible to put up a motorhome, one of the few places on the island where you can do so.
