Vatsa Beach
Organized beach with brown-red sand and clear blue sea. But the highlight of this place is not the beach, but its stunning tavern with an adjoining area built in the style of wooden huts. You will be transported to another era and feel like you are in another world for a moment. The beach is located in a quiet bay which is isolated by the predominantly rocky coastline of the Paliki peninsula. The only river on the island, which flows into the sea, flows near the bay and can be easily crossed by an interesting floating bridge. The opposite side of Vatsa beach has not been subjected to any intervention, allowing it to preserve its wild natural beauty and is such an impressive place overlooking the Ionian Sea that some honeymooners choose to hold their wedding here. The fabulous sunset near the Gerogombos lighthouse will enchant you with its last rays of sunlight that sink into the waters of the Ionian Sea.
