Athera beach
Ateras is a sandy beach with calm and quiet waters, located in the center of a small narrow bay, not far from the mountain village of Ateras. The beach has a shallow bottom with blue water, which is ideal for swimming for small children. It is one of the favorite family beaches, as children here can play safely in the water. Ateras is a quiet but unorganized beach, so you should bring an umbrella as there are no trees on the beach. However, there is a traditional tavern near the beach that serves fresh fish with local specialties.
