This is one of the most unusual beaches of the island, it is located near Livadi beach,. Although the beach is not easily accessible, this charming place will reward you for your efforts. You can get here by a dirt road, which at some point turns into a path, or by boat on the sea. The turquoise waters of this beach will rejuvenate your soul and body, as there are underwater springs flowing in the area. The beach with white fine sand and clear blue water is a real oasis. The beach is organized with umbrellas, deck chairs and a small tavern. The somewhat strange name Arsanas is related to the monastery of Archangel Michael, which is located right above the coast and is a paraphrase of the word “dockyard”, as the port used to be the dockyard of the monastery.
