Vrachinari beach is located in the most unspoiled place on the island, in the Paliki area. It is an ideal place for a vacation with golden sand, clear blue sea. The beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, but in summer there are not many vacationers, which allows you to relax in silence and enjoy the beautiful sea bottom. Small natural pits with sea water or libes, as the locals call it, are created on the rocks to use this water in the traditional Kefalonian Riganada. Traditional Reganada is made from dry bread slices soaked in sea water and smeared with olive oil, vinegar and plenty of oregano. Near the beach there is a small snack bar and traditional tavernas serving fresh fish with local specialties. Near the Gerogombo lighthouse, you can admire the wonderful sunset and enjoy the last rays of the sun sinking in the waters of the Ionian Sea.
