Daphne Beach

Dafni beach is located in the southern part of the island, 18 km from the capital of Zakynthos. The beach is sandy, with pebbles in some places, but with crystal clear water and shallow waters. Therefore, the sea warms up well, which makes this place a favorite for family vacations. Great depth begins only 100 -150 meters from the shore. Since the beach is inhabited by many turtles laying eggs, the installation of umbrellas and deck chairs on the beach itself is prohibited. The beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, but they are located next to the beach, near a small restaurant where you can taste local delicacies. The territory of the beach belongs to a nature reserve, so the beach takes measures to protect wildlife and animals from tourists. Therefore, there is no noisy entertainment on the beach.
